Hulsey Strikes Up Another Top 10
Owasso, OK | July 30, 2014 - Back at home for a double header and the team was in high hopes with recent powerful runs.
Running only one class this past weekend, Ty was set to add to on his run of Top 5 finishes but once again bad luck struck the 21H Multi of Ty Hulsey. Friday while running third in the A Feature the engine began to
over heat causing yet another DNF. Saturday was a new day and the team had the car ready to roll to the front. After an impressive run in the heat race the driver and car were ready for the feature. Starting 6th Ty began trying to work his way to the front. In the 5th spot on the last lap, Ty made contact with a lap car and fell back to the 8th position. A learning night for sure but still happy with a Top 10.
We would like to send out a Congrats to Harlan (Dad) on his win in the Non-Wing. Way to go dad.
Next up THR will be taking a weekend off but will be back in action with the POWRI West Midget Series at I44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma City on August 9th. Come out and say HI pick up a t-shirt or 2
