Josh Marcham Earns Two Podium Finishes at the DRC Memorial at Port City
Tulsa, OK - Setting himself up for a good starting position in the A feature by winning his heat race, Josh Marcham earned two 3rd place finishes last weekend in the nonwing event at Port City Raceway on September 2-3, 2016. Starting 3rd in the preliminary night's feature, Marcham maintained his 3rd place position in a follow the leader race, locking him into the main event Saturday night.
After inverting the top 6 locked in cars, Marcham started 4th for the A main event. With different track conditions on the second night allowing for an outside line, Marcham chose the high side for the race, and worked his way to 3rd, resulting in his second podium finish for the weekend. Brother Trey Marcham served as crew chief for the weekend.
Recovering from a hiatus due to a broken wrist suffered in California Speedweeks, Trey Marcham will be returning to racing at the 4th Annual Going Green for Cancer Awareness race at I44 Riverside Speedway September 10, 2016.
