Flud Triples Up, Wickham, Smith and Mosley also Claim PCR Victories

TULSA, Okla. (August 26, 2018) - Frank Flud tripled up, Jeremy Wickham, Kaden Smith and Bryson Mosley each claimed victories during PCR Weekly Championship Cup racing at Port City Raceway in their respective divisions.

In POWRi Outlaw competition Frank Flud picked up the feature event. Delaney Jost followed suit crossing in second. Scott Sawyer took the final spot on the podium. Kaylee Bryson finished in fourth advancing from the fourteenth spot with Brock Berreth rounding out the top five after starting fifteenth.

Shawn Wicker crossed in sixth. Dalton Brown was seventh. Cole Roberts eighth. Nonth went to Spencer Mason with Curtis Jones rounding out the top ten.

Jeffrey Newell, Roberts and KJ Snow picked up the nights three heat race wins.

Frank Flud also scored the POWRi Non-Wing feature event on Saturday. Flud started sixth on the grid and would maneuver through the field to pick up the win. Darien Roberts finished in the runner up spot after starting seventh. Jake Rosario finished third. Caleb Pence came from sixteenth to finish fourth. Fifth went to Dustin Dixon.

Ronnie James was sixth. Randy Wagnon, Jr. crossed in seventh. Curtis Jones took the eighth spot. Phillip Cordova cruised to ninth after starting twentieth. Matt Ward rounded out the top ten.

Ward, Rosario and Roberts were victorious in heat race competition. Jake Nail picked up the nights B-Main.

Going three for three, Frank Flud used his pole starting spot to pick up the POWRi A-Class feature event. Darien Roberts followed Flud to the line. Steven Curbow picked up the last spot on the podium. Fourth went to Daison Pursley. Kaylee Bryson charged to fifth advancing ten spots.

Austin Helt finished in the sixth spot. Gage Laney ended the night in seventh. Lane Goodman crossed in eighth with Jake Nail finishing ninth and Blake Battles tenth.

Curbow, Laney and Flud powered to victory in heat race action.

After a post race protest it was found that Jeremy Wickham was 100% legal and retained the win. Ryan Cody crossed in the second spot. Dave Nicholson finished in third. Fourth went to Matt Cash with Bobby McIntosh rounding out the top five.

Randy Myers was sixth. Matt Taylor took the seventh spot. Larry Martinez ended up eighth. Troy Minton ninth and Darrius Myers rounded out the top ten.

Nicholson and Cody won the nights two heat races.

Kaden Smith scored his first victory of 2018 in the POWRi Restricted class. Smith started on the outside front row and would run to victory. Shawn Mahaffey picked up the second spot. TJ Thompson crossed in third. Baron Silva finished in the fourth spot with Kylee Young ending her night in fifth.

Dooley Harris sixth. Ryker Pace took the seventh spot. Eighth went to Glenn James Bratti. Jeremiah Green finished in ninth with Thomas Byford taking the tenth spot.

Thompson and Smith took honors in the two Restricted heat races.

Bryson Mosley visited victory lane for the third time this season in the POWRi Junior Sprint division. Ayden Parrish finished in the runner up spot with Cale McGee claiming the final spot on the podium.

Port City Raceway will be taking Labor Day weekend off and will return to Weekly Racing on Saturday, Sept. 8.
