4th Annual Outlaw Nationals Happens September 21-22 at Port City Raceway

TULSA, Okla. (August 27, 2018) - The Outlaw Nationals returns in 2018 at Port City Raceway and the fourth edition includes a new format as well as increased purse from previous years.

Happening on Friday-Saturday, September 21-22 the two day extravaganza of 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints will payout $8,000 to win and $800 to start the Saturday finale.

Sanctioned with the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League, the event will be tape delayed and broadcasted on POWRi TV as well as MAVTV.

Friday night will be a preliminary night featuring Heats, Qualifiers, LCQ's and A-Main. Top 4 from Friday night will lock into Saturday's finale.

Saturday will feature Heats and Qualifiers for drivers not locked in from Friday.

Format

Friday, Sept. 21:

Heats: Heat races will be lined up by random pill draw. Heats will be 10-laps with 10 car max fields.

Qualifiers: There will be 6 Qualifiers. Qualifiers will be 15 laps with a 20-car maximum each. Qualifiers will be lined straight up by the passing point totals calculated from heat races. The top 3 finishers in each qualifier will transfer to the A-Main. Positions 4, 5 & 6 will go to the Last Chance Qualifier. All other finishing positions will be done for the night.

LCQ: The Last Chance Qualifier will be 15 laps. The top 2 finishers will transfer to the A-Main.

A-Main: The A-Main will be 25 laps. The top 3 cars from the 6 Qualifiers will line straight up to determine the top 18 starting positions. Positions 19 & 20 is filled with the top 2 finishers from the LCQ. The TOP 4 Finishers lock in to Saturday Nights A-Main Feature.

Saturday, Sept. 22:

Heats: Heat races will be 10 laps with a 10-car maximum. Line-ups will be determined by random pill draw. Passing points will be utilized to determine the starting line-ups for the Qualifiers.

Qualifiers: D-C-B Qualifiers (2 each) will be 15 laps with a 16-car maximum. They will be lined straight up by the passing point totals calculated from the heat races. The top 4 finishers in each D qualifier will transfer into a C Qualifier. The top 4 finishers in each C Qualifier will transfer into a B Qualifier. The top 4 finishers in each B Qualifier will transfer into an A Qualifier.

Finale A-Main: The A Qualifiers (2 each) will be 20 laps. The top 8 finishers in each A Qualifier will transfer into the $8,000.00 to Win 50-lap Outlaw Nationals A-Main event.

Friday, Sept. 21:

Prelim A-Main: 1. $1,000, 2. $500, 3. $250, 4. $200, 5. $175, 6. $150, 7. $140, 8. $130, 9. $120, 10. $110, 11-20. $100.

Saturday, Sept. 22:

Finale A-Main: 1, $8,000, 2. $4,000, 3. $2,500, 4. $1,750, 5. $1,500, 6. $1,400, 7. $1,300, 8. $1,200, 9. $1,100, 10. $1,000, 11. $950, 12. $900, 13. $880, 14. $860, 15. $840, 16. $820, 17-20. $800.

$2,500 in lap money is up for grabs.

$250 Hard Charger on Saturday.

Entry fee for the 4th Annual Outlaw Nationals is $175 and does include pit passes for both nights.

Restricted and Non-Wing will be support classes for the weekend. Purse details and format will be released soon.
