Timms Takes Two and Randall Nets Triumph During Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Event at Port City Raceway

Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (May 11, 2019) – Ryan Timms and Chase Randall reached the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies Winner’s Circle on Saturday evening at Port City Raceway.

Timms continued his dominating season in the Restricted ‘A’ Class by scoring his six triumph in nine races. He also picked up his first career NOW600 Series Stock Non-Wing win. Randall claimed the Winged ‘A’ Class main event for the second time in his career.

Timms capped the night by rallying from fifth to post his first-ever Stock Non-Wing victory. Jesse Frazier earned a runner-up result with Trey Robb third, Shawn Mahaffey fourth and Layden Pearson fifth.

Pearson, Timms, Randall and Frazier were the heat race winners. Jake Nail and Grady Mercer each won a B Main.

Randall outlasted Pearson to capture the Winged ‘A’ Class main event. Kris Carroll ended third and Blake Battles charged from 12th to fourth. Points leader Frank Flud rounded out the top five.

Zac Moody, Garth Kasiner, Ryder Laplante and Jason Tracy each scored a heat race triumph. The B Mains were won by Timms and Kayla Ward.

Timms extended his lead in the Restricted ‘A’ Class championship standings thanks to his second straight win and sixth of the season. Rees Moran finished second with Timothy Watson III in third. Baron Silva rallied from 14th to fourth and Kayden Cole was fifth.

Cole, Laplante and Brody Mclaughlin were the heat race winners. Grayson Gaddy won the B Main.

The NOW600 Series resumes competition next Saturday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. It marks the inaugural visit for the series to the state of Arkansas.
