Tire Rule Update
August 12, 2021 | Tulsa, OK: As most race teams are well aware, there is a nation wide tire shortage. As the season has gone on, it has become challenging for suppliers to keep up with the requests and needs of teams on all levels of racing. Port City Raceway officials have worked with several local and regional suppliers to try to find some type of solution in efforts to accommodate everyone involved.
The resolution we have come to will be as follows:
Effective immediately Port City Raceway will open the tire rule to allow use of tires other than Hoosier. Right Rear does not have to be ASCS2 stamped. KS1 are allowed. While the tire rule is opened up, you may NOT use any type of tire dope.
