Griggs Restrictor Win Confirmed After Post Race Tech
Hoss, TULSA, Okla. (April 4, 2022) –After the completion of the Whitacre Glass Restrictor A-feature Saturday night April 2, a formal protest of feature winner Lathe Griggs was submitted to Port City Raceway. Upon receiving the protest Port City Officials approached the Griggs team and the number 3 was taken into possession by Port City Raceway. Sunday morning at approximately 1:00 pm Port City officials, along with representatives from both parties involved did a fuel test along with a complete teardown of the entry piloted by Lathe Griggs. After a full evaluation, Port City officials verified that Lathe Griggs was legal and completed within the rules of Port City Raceway.
