Race Day for Werco Manufacturing T-Town Restrictor Showdown Presented by Velox Racing
Hoss, Tulsa, OK. (April 21, 2022) – It's time to kick off the racing weekend so many have had marked on the calendars since its release date. NOS Energy Drink USAC National midget teams have started arriving for the 3rd Annual Werco Manufacturing T-Town Midget Showdown presented by Priority Aviation. Something new to the schedule this year is the Werco Manufacturing T-town Restrictor Showdown presented by Velox Racing, and the midget Dash For Cash presented by Dragon Fly Aviation. For the restrictors it's a one night full show for $600 to win thanks to Throttle Down Threads for the added money.
For the midgets and non-wing outlaw micros it's practice night, however there is a little incentive for the midgets to put up the fastest time. Dragon Fly Aviation has sponsored a Dash for Cash for the NOS Energy Drink USAC National midgets. It will feature 8 drivers racing in a 10 lap dash winner take all. A draw will be held to determine the starting lineup. The top-six fastest drivers in practice, who want to participate, will be eligible along with previous T-Town Midget Showdown Saturday main event winners. If either of the previous champions do not require provisionals, the seventh and eighth fastest cars in practice times will be added. If a driver does not want to participate, the next fastest in time has the option to join the field.
