KKM Giveback Classic At Port City Raceway Next For NOW600 Restricted Teams

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (October 17, 2022) Taking part in the 4th annual KKM Giveback Classic at Port City Raceway, the Restricted division of the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division will be in action October 20, 21, and 22.

With a potential to pocket $4,000 this weekend, Thursday and Friday prelim action will offer up $500 to win, and $50 to start, while Saturday’s championship event pays $3,000 to win, and $150 to start. Full payout details are published at http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=754361

Racing alongside the POWRi Outlaw Micro Non-Wing Micro League and Junior Sprints, the format for the NOW600 Restricted division will be as follows:

Normal NOW600 Group Qualifying / Passing Points will be utilized on Thursday and Friday.

Combined event points from Thursday and Friday will set Saturday’s feature lineup. Top 6 in Thursday/Friday points will lock in. The remainder of the field is lined up by combined points in LCQ’s on Saturday.

Qualifying: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Heats: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11
B-Mains: 35
A-Main: 100, 97, 94, 91, 88, 85, 82, 79, 76, 73, 70, 68, 66, 64, 62, 60, 58, 56, 54, 52.

The 4th annual KKM Giveback Classic at Port City Raceway will be preceded by parking and practice on Wednesday, October 19.

The tentative daily schedule is as follows. All times listed are CDT. Registration times are specific to the NOW600 Restricted competition. All other divisions are open from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. according to the schedule posted by POWRi.
