POWRi to Sanction Port City Raceway

Belleville, IL. (1/5/23) Offering sanctioning guidelines for weekly competition, Performance Open Wheel Racing Incorporated(POWRi) and Port City Raceway, in Tulsa Oklahoma, have entered into a working agreement for the 2023 season and beyond.

“Working with POWRi in several events throughout the season, like the KKM Giveback Classic, Turnpike Challenge, and DRC Sooner State 55, we witness firsthand everything they bring to the table as a sanctioning body. With Port City Raceway receiving the same attention and national recognition that POWRi offers, we felt it was a good fit in offering racing programs growth opportunities and competitiveness at a track level,” stated Port City Raceway owner Shane Stewart.

Continuing to build off the initial success of sanctioned POWRi facilities, Port City Raceway will include Jr Sprints, A-Class, Restrictor, Non-Wing, and Sportsman weekly with POWRi providing the point fund for the exciting upcoming racing season.
