Port City Raceway Prepares for 2024 Season Celebrating 50 Years of Racing

Tulsa, OK. (1/3/2024) Preserving premier grassroots racing while building upon the foundations of previous successful seasons, Port City Raceway excitedly announces the 2024 season schedule with fifty events throughout the fiftieth year of Tulsa Oklahoma open-wheel excitement.

Spanning from early March until late October, the one-eighth-mile speed factory will see an open practice kickstart the season on Saturday, March 2nd before beginning the competitional year once again with the T2 Promotions’ Milestone Home Services Outlaw Nationals presented by Start2Finish TV on March 7-9 featuring the $10K-to-Wing Wing Outlaw, $2000-winning NOW600 Restrictor, and $500-to-Win Jr Sprint divisions.

Witnessing a plethora of potential point-earning events, Port City Raceway will welcome twenty-three regular weekly racing nights slated for on-track action. Regularly running from Saturday, March 16th until finalizing the track’s yearly title pursuit for competitors on Saturday, October 5th.

Marking the yearly schedule with leading persistent events including the Spring Fling from April 4-6, the 13th Annual Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial on June 27-29, Non-Wing Nationals on August 18-20, the triumphantly returning Pete Frazier Memorial on August 29-31, as well as the RUJO Rumble from October 10-12.

Returning to much fanfare and eager anticipation, the Keith Kunz Giveback Classic will once again blast back to the fast lap times of Port City Raceway on October 16-19. Offering the $15,000 to win the grand prize, the KKM Giveback Classic presented by MPI continues to put the decision on the winning driver of the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro League feature with the option between the $15,000 lump sum or a ride in a KKM entry at the Chili Bowl along with $7,500 cash from KKM and FloRacing.

Joining in the traveling action visiting Port City Raceway, the yearly agenda will witness a stop in the NOW600 Sooner Speedweek on June 8th, a pair of stand-alone event showcases for the POWRi West Midget League on June 22nd and August 24th; as well as the season bookended by appearances from the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues in the 11th Annual POWRi Turnpike Challenge on March 29-30 and the 5th Annual DRC Sooner State 55 on October 24th.

Weekly racing divisions will continue to include Jr Sprints, Sportsman, A-Class, Non-Wing, and Restrictor, with several marquee events spanning the eight-month season of racing entertainment. Special event classes will be confirmed as race days approach.
